"Fairy Tale and Reality" by Jacqueline Molnár
Jacqueline Molnár was born in 1973 in Budapest. She completed her studies between 1991 and 1996 in Budapest in the College of Arts and Crafts (currently: Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design, MOME) in animation-graphics, in 1994 in Minerva Academie in Groningen in graphics, in 1995 in Gerrit Rietveld Academie in Amsterdam in animation-graphics (with the support of the Soros Foundation), in 1998 in the Hungarian University of Arts and Crafts (also MOME) and in Escola Massana in Barcelona in intermedia (with the support of the Soros Foundation). Jacqueline Molnár currently lives in Barcelona and Budapest. She has illustrated many animated cartoons and more than 40 children's books. In her work she uses different techniques: collage, aquarelle, tempera, acrylic painting, photography etc.
She writes stories as well, in 2017 her book Robots was published with her own illustrations.
She
likes to organize workshops for children. In 2016, during the Big
Draw festival in the Picasso Museum in Barcelona, she was the creator
and director of the workshop La maleta refugiada (The running
suitcase).
