The Estonian White
When you think of Estonian knitting, what first comes to the mind are the colourful mitten and stocking patterns. These patterns have been with Estonians throughout generations and they become a symbol of Estonia. However, beside the colourful world of patterns there has been another – the beautiful all-white knitting. Numerous traditional white-on-white knitting patterns, endlessly gorgeous and deeply familiar like many white things in our lives.
