Paintings in this series were created during 1989-94. Edgar Valter got the impulse to make this series at a theatrical performance. His paintings display mysterious agendas and meaningful symbolic - much like human beings' frantic actions on the huge stage which is our world. Edgar Valter played his roll of children's books illustrator and author remarkably well; but the unexpected storylines he presents in this series probably make many of us ask: what kind of creator was he really?
