Button Game
At first we talk about why we need buttons, and then we talk about their colors, shapes, materials, attachment modes - with examples. Children seek for buttons on them and study how teddy bear's buttons help him see and move his paws. We play a button game where buttons are displayed on pictures. All children will make their own big colorful button out of play dough, and decorate it, too! Everybody can take their buttons home with them.

Teacher reads a short story about pencils and draws a picture along with it. Children can draw on a long sheet of paper and take it with them.
