Menders of the World

Menders of the World is a space where idealists, silent rebels, creators, and storytellers meet. It is a set of people, stories, and things that connect the present and the past with the future, valuing the mistakes made and visible repairs. These people are motivated by the fight against the prevailing consumer culture, the preservation of past experience, their feelings for loved ones, a practical mind, or the correction of mistakes.

City Master of Viljandi,  Triin Amur has brought together more than twenty beloved and unique repaired objects with the stories accompanying them. With the help of photographs by Karoliina Kreintaal, they invite you to meet the menders of the world, their special things, and shared stories.
